Biography

Chris Arakaky is an associate in the Leesburg office of Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig and concentrates in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, and fiduciary representations. As an estate planning attorney, Chris advises clients on planning for family financial needs, probate avoidance, and incapacity. Chris has prepared hundreds of estate plans, including trusts, wills, financial powers of attorney, advance medical directives, living wills, and documents of anatomical gift.

Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Chris worked in the Office of University Counsel and Compliance, Diversity... and Ethics offices of George Mason University. He also worked on creditor rights matters before coming to DBL. Born and raised in Virginia, Chris earned his Bachelor’s Degree from George Mason University in 2012 and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2015. While in law school, Chris served on the editorial board of the Virginia Journal of Criminal Law and participated in the Innocence Project clinic.

Paralegals and Legal Support Staff

At Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig, our team of paralegals and staff work together collaboratively along side our attorneys toward a common goal. We have created a positive work environment where our paralegals and legal assistants work to successfully reach firm-wide goals and support each other to combine individual strengths to enhance team performance. They regularly assist our attorneys with organizing and maintaining files, conducting legal research, and preparing documents.
