Banking on the future

With rising consumer expectations, interest rate fluctuations, powerful new technologies, burdensome regulations, and new players entering the industry, financial institutions are under pressure to transform. With Big Tech companies adding financial services products into their portfolios, lenders need to find new ways to compete for business.

In their quest to evolve, banks need a trusted partner. Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig has the expertise, understanding of the banking industry, and legal acumen to help financial institutions advance on their transformational journey. Our law firm guides financial institutions through the full array of banking industry matters, from portfolio management and collection to regulatory investigations, enforcement, and disputes.

Our experience in the banking industry

Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig uses its knowledge of the regulatory framework for banking to advise financial institutions, financial intermediaries, lenders, private equity firms, and others on a variety of financial transactions, including commercial and industrial loans, commercial real estate loans, SBA loans, asset securitizations, asset-based loans, investment funds, equipment loans, lease financings, and debt financings. We also help clients with digital banking issues, including account aggregation, blockchain, data privacy, and electronic payments.

Our multidisciplinary team works with lenders and borrowers on loan workouts and other special asset matters. We defend corporate borrowers and lenders in litigation matters.
