He served as a Litigator at the Air Force Legal Operation Agency – Labor Law Division, representing the Air Force in Labor and Employment negotiations and trials involving civilian contractors. Other experience in this role includes Title VII, wage and hour, and collective bargaining negotiations and litigation. Drafted pleadings, conducted investigations, counsel clients, negotiated settlements, and led all phases of litigation. Highest win/clearance rate in the division.
Cantrell’s experience also includes Complex Commercial Litigation, representing purchasers of real property, corporate assets, and accounts in cause of action claiming seller breached purchase agreement by fraudulently misrepresenting financial statement and accounts, and concealed material changes.
Cantrell is a retired Air Force J.A.G officer at the (HQ) US Air Force Legal Operation Agency – Labor Law Division. He managed labor and employment litigation (to include mediations and arbitrations) for 115+ organizational departments within the U.S. Investigated NLRA unfair labor practices complaints, as well as complaints asserting claims in ADEA, ADA, ADAAA, Title VII, FMLA, and FLSA.
