Jonathan Hill

Jonathan Hill is a Partner at Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig, concentrating his practice on complex commercial litigation and appeals, including all facets of patent litigation and patent monetization. He has represented a broad range of clients from Fortune 100 companies to privately held enterprises with fewer than 100 employees to individual inventors. Those representations have included patent infringement litigation before district courts, appeals before the Courts of Appeals for the Seventh and Federal Circuits, Inter Partes Review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeals Board at the United States Patent &...; Trademark Office, mediation, and arbitration over patent infringement liability, trade secret misappropriation and breach of patent license agreements, negotiations of patent license agreements, and counseling regarding patent infringement, validity, enforceability, and damages. The technology areas at issue in those matters have included power electronics, polymers, mechanical devices, medical devices, internet-based marketing, vehicular information systems, and radio frequency identification.

Jonathan recently represented a small business in an antitrust matter resulting in a $315 million jury verdict for his client. He also recently helped another client secure an arbitration award in excess of $50 million in a contract dispute.
