Biography

Tamara Dunlap is a Partner at Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig. Immediately before joining Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig, Tamara was Assistant County Attorney for Loudoun County Attorney’s Office in Loudoun County, Virginia, from 2007 to 2015, where her practice focused on public procurement and real estate, construction, and collateralization of performance agreements between the County and various private entities.

From 2002 to 2007, Tamara worked for Smith Pachter McWhorter, a construction and government contracts law firm in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia. Her practice areas included construction law, government and public... contracts, and commercial litigation. While with Smith Pachter McWhorter, she drafted and edited complaints, GAO protests, answers, interrogatories, and other pleadings and motions in Government Contracts and Construction Litigation filed with the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, GAO, the Court of Federal Claims and local District, and Circuit Courts in Washington, D.C., and Virginia.

Intern Program

As part of our effort to recruit, develop and retail the best and brightest attorneys, Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig offers a summer intern program for promising law school students who are looking to work as part of an innovative and incredibly successful team. With a global team of lawyers, selected candidates are able to work on high level projects in a collaborative space.

Paralegals and Legal Support Staff

At Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig, our team of paralegals and staff work together collaboratively along side our attorneys toward a common goal. We have created a positive work environment where our paralegals and legal assistants work to successfully reach firm-wide goals and support each other to combine individual strengths to enhance team performance. They regularly assist our attorneys with organizing and maintaining files, conducting legal research, and preparing documents.
