Farzad Panjshiri

Farzad Panjshiri is an Associate Attorney at Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig. Farzad grew up in Hamburg, Germany and completed his law degree (First State Examination) at the University of Hamburg and the second state examination (the equivalent of the US bar examination) at the Higher Regional Court in Celle, Lower Saxony.

Following the completion of his German law degree and German bar examination, he worked as Legal Counsel for an International Intellectual Property services company – initially, as part of the International Trademark Department and later on, he was given the opportunity to work as Country Manager..., responsible for the North American region, which prompted his relocation to the DC Metropolitan Area. He conducted global trademark clearance searches, preliminary trademark screens, evaluated trademark clearance reports, and communicated with international clients and trademark counsels regarding trademark clearances.

Subsequently, Farzad completed his LL.M. in US Intellectual Property Law at George Mason University – School of Law and was admitted to the New York Bar. During the LLM program Farzad refined his knowledge in domestic Trademark and Copyright Law through internships at the Center for Protection of Intellectual Property and an internship at the Trademark Practice Group of a large domestic IP law firm. Outside work, Farzad likes to travel, play soccer, try new foods, and go hiking.
