Andy Webb

Andy Webb is a Senior Associate at Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig, where he focuses his practice on civil litigation. He represents clients at every stage of the litigation process—from pre-suit strategy through trial and on appeal —bringing a disciplined, analytical approach to each case. Andy prides himself on cutting through a matter’s legal and factual complexity to develop practical strategies that advance his clients’ objectives. Before joining Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig, Andy was a Partner at Kalbaugh, Pfund & Messersmith. In that role, he represented clients across a broad range of matters, including legal... malpractice, personal injury, contract disputes, and insurance coverage litigation. Andy has litigated cases in almost every courthouse in Virginia and has deep familiarity with the nuances of Virginia’s numerous and diverse jurisdictions.

Andy takes a collaborative and client-focused approach. He is adept at handling novel and high stakes matters. Andy is persistent in his preparation and research, ensuring his clients receive clear answers and well-reasoned solutions, even in uncharted legal territory. For example, he successfully defended two local electoral board members in the first case
tried under the governing statute in more than fifty years, ultimately securing reversal of their removal on appeal to the Supreme Court of Virginia.

Prior to entering private practice in Virginia, Andy served as a Staff Attorney for the Supreme Court of South Carolina, where he provided legal research and analysis to the Court on matters spanning virtually every area of South Carolina law. That experience continues to inform his approach to legal research, analysis, and advocacy.
