OVERVIEW

Addressing problems before they turn into disputes

Contracts are the building blocks of business. When written carefully and executed properly, contract terms are binding and enforceable. But when terms aren’t clear and execution isn’t perfect, gray areas can arise that lead to expensive re-negotiations and breach of contract litigation.

The contract team at Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig negotiates, drafts, and interprets a variety of business contracts, including construction contracts, financial agreements, deal documents, consulting and employment agreements, real estate contracts, and more, on behalf of corporate clients. Our goal is to help clients advance their business needs and their long-term interests.

Our experience with contract law

Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig’s contract lawyers are part of a multidisciplinary team that serves clients in various industries, including technology, government contracting, and professional services, through the entire business lifecycle. We work with clients forming new entities that need operating agreements and buyout contracts and established businesses merging with or acquiring other businesses. We also advise clients that need help protecting their interests through a variety of contracts, including nondisclosure agreements and noncompetition agreements.

Our contract lawyers have experience in the deal room and in the courtroom. So, if negotiations don’t go as planned, we are ready to step in to represent our clients and enforce and defend contractual terms, whether in federal or state court or in arbitration and mediation.
