Protecting prized assets

It takes a lifetime to build wealth. But few people spend enough time considering how they will pass it on to their family members, close friends, and charitable organizations when they are gone. In the absence of a clear plan, the process of tying up the loose ends can become cumbersome and fraught with conflict and expense.

Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig’s trusts and estates lawyers can help. Probate is a specialized, court-directed process that requires the guidance of a knowledgeable lawyer. We counsel clients throughout the probate process, providing guidance and helping you pass along a loved one’s estate properly and efficiently.

Our experience with probate and trust administration

Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig’s probate and trust administration lawyers have years of experience practicing across different states and jurisdictions. We work closely with clients and counsel on all aspects of probate and trust administration, including the initial probate evaluation, the probate process itself, and winding up the estate following the conclusion of probate.

The trusts and estates lawyers at our law firm assist both personal representatives and executors in connection with the probate process, including filing a petition, publishing and mailing required notices, submitting self-proving affidavits, distributing property, and completing other filing requirements. We have a strong command of what is required under state law and the Uniform Probate Code. Our aim is to help you navigate the complex transitional tasks associated with probate and put your loved one’s estate to rest peacefully.
