Alex Rowan

Alex grew up in Florida, but he has spent much of the past decade bouncing between Sweden, Germany, and the United States. He studied his undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida, where he was able to spend a year studying computer science in Osnabrück, Germany. Following this, he worked in Sweden for a year, where he married his best friend.

Then, he studied law at Washington and Lee. During his time there, Alex focused on litigation and dispute resolution—learning and practicing how to be successful in trial and winning a case before it reaches trial. During his last year at Washington and Lee..., Alex spent one semester abroad. He studied Swedish and EU laws regulating banks and the financing of business transactions at the University of Stockholm.

Since starting, Alex has applied his technology background to better understand and argue IP litigation cases, and his international background in the same way for regulatory work.

Outside of his legal life, Alex enjoys spending time in any form with his wife and newborn daughter. Aside from that, he also enjoys playing French Horn, weightlifting, wakeboarding, and hiking.
