Biography

Austin Hatcher is a Legal Services Provider at Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig. He represents clients in Washington State on a variety of business and personal legal matters, to include business formation, contracts, and estate planning. As a veteran, he also welcomes any opportunity to assist other veterans.

Austin is a graduate of Seattle University School of Law with a diverse experiential background. Prior to law school, he served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Captain. During his time in the Marine Corps, he was stationed in Quantico, Virginia, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Oceanside..., California, and Okinawa, Japan. He also deployed with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) to the Philippines, and participated in exercises in the Republic of Korea. Before leaving active duty, Austin also had the opportunity of playing on the All-Marine Corps soccer team in the Armed Forces Championships in Georgia.

Upon separating from active duty, Austin Hatcher worked as a consultant on various business projects as a project manager and content writer. He has worked on marketing campaigns for international corporations, and led Microsoft’s presence at SAP Sapphire in Orlando, Florida, coordinating with international partners, designing the tradeshow booth, and organizing a golf tournament. These roles enabled him to develop varied skills and interact with people from different backgrounds while fostering an appreciation for small business owners and their passion.

Austin Hatcher recently joined the Marine Corps Reserves, and has been promoted to the rank of Major. He continues to serve the military community as a volunteer attorney with the Washington State Office of the Attorney General’s Military Engagement and Directed Advocacy by Lawyers (MEDAL) program, and as a member of the Washington State Bar Association Legal Assistance for Military Personnel section.

Intern Program

As part of our effort to recruit, develop and retail the best and brightest attorneys, Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig offers a summer intern program for promising law school students who are looking to work as part of an innovative and incredibly successful team. Paralegals and Legal Support Staff

At Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig, our team of paralegals and staff work together collaboratively along side our attorneys toward a common goal. We have created a positive work environment where our paralegals and legal assistants work to successfully reach firm-wide goals and support each other to combine individual strengths to enhance team performance. They regularly assist our attorneys with organizing and maintaining files, conducting legal research, and preparing documents.
