HOW TO SECURELY SHARE FILES WITH DBL

HOW TO SECURELY SHARE FILES WITH DBL

DBL shares files securely with external users using Microsoft SharePoint. If you have received an email from a DBL employee sharing an individual document or an entire folder, click "Open" to continue.

Ensure to bookmark the shared page to reference for all future shared documents.

If SharePoint doesn’t recognize your computer as being part of the DBL network, the “Request Verification Code” box will pop up. Click “Send Code”. Go back to your email to retrieve the Verification Code and enter it into the box indicated, and click “Verify”.

You will then be in SharePoint and can open any documents shared with you or can upload files to share with the DBL team. Don't forget to bookmark the Shared folder to send and receive files.

Once you have accessed the Shared folder, you can optionally "Sync" this folder to your local computer. This allows for easier editing, uploading, and accessing future files. Click "Sync" from the menu options in the Shared Folder and once synced you can see the files in your file explorer. Please note that any changes to sync folders from your computer will also be reflected on the main SharePoint folder.

If you have any difficulties, please email litigation@dbllawyers.com or your DBL point of contact.

Please do not include any confidential or sensitive information in this form. Submitting this form does not create an attorney-client relationship.
