Aimee McKinney is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig. In this capacity, Aimee is responsible for documenting the road map, resources and budget required to achieve goals around branding, marketing campaigns, advertising and promotion, social media, public relations, website development, events, and business development efforts. Aimee directs the marketing staff to meet these business performance objectives.
Aimee has 22+ years of experience in marketing for both large and small companies and 17+ years in education. After undergraduate school at The Pennsylvania State University, Aimee headed east and landed a job at Merck Pharmaceutical Company in their environmental engineering department. She worked in that capacity for several years before she realized that marketing and teaching were what she was really interested in. She earned her MBA at Saint Joseph’s University with a concentration in Marketing. She spent a decade working at Merck in their Marketing Division launching and marketing pharmaceuticals such as Maxalt, Singular, Vioxx and Propecia. During this time, she started teaching as an adjunct professor at Saint Joseph’s University, Penn State Abington and Gwynedd Mercy College and fell in love with the concept that learning is a life-long endeavor. She went on to work in a small e-Learning company doing everything from marketing to business operations.
Prior to joining DBL in 2018, Aimee worked as the Director of Marketing in the Senior Living vertical, where she learned first-hand the value of building true and meaningful relationships as the best way to market. Aimee also teaches as an online adjunct professor for Ashford University.
Aimee is an experienced marketing executive with proven ability to drive organizational change and to build new strategies to win. She is a high-energy leader who instills confidence through example and has extensive experience in marketing complex products and services across different industries.
