Biography

Brenda Hankins focuses her practice on Political and Election law, and nonprofit and business organizations. Brenda also provides financial and compliance services to Republican campaigns and party committees, conservative political action committees, tax-exempt organizations, and corporate and trade associations.

Prior to joining DBL, Brenda has had a wide array of legal experiences including being the Deputy Director at the Office of Legislative Counsel in the Office of General Counsel at the Department of Defense handling large scale Senate investigations. Brenda has been Counsel at the U.S. House of Representatives... Committee on the Judiciary (Subcommittee on Commercial and Administrative Law) and handled investigations for the U.S. House of Representatives Appropriations Committee (Surveys and Investigations Team). Prior to her work in the government, Brenda worked with businesses, 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and other non-profit entities on formation decisions, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, and all other ongoing legal issues in their business operations.

Paralegals and Legal Support Staff

At Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig, our team of paralegals and staff work together collaboratively along side our attorneys toward a common goal. We have created a positive work environment where our paralegals and legal assistants work to successfully reach firm-wide goals and support each other to combine individual strengths to enhance team performance. They regularly assist our attorneys with organizing and maintaining files, conducting legal research, and preparing documents.
