OVERVIEW

The toughest challenges demand a tough defense

At Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig, our goal is to help you avoid the business and reputational risk associated with litigating employment discrimination claims. That is why we help clients implement proactive workforce strategies designed to reduce the risks and costs of employment litigation, including anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies. We also lead confidential internal investigations of harassment and discrimination claims on our clients’ behalf.

But our lawyers recognize that sometimes litigation is unavoidable. As soon as a complaint is lodged with a federal or state agency or a lawsuit is filed in court, our clients must quickly determine the best course of action to preserve their business while defending their reputation.

Employers facing employment litigation need counsel with courtroom experience and business acumen who can efficiently address the legal and practical risks that come with employment claims.
That is why they hire us.

Our experience in employment litigation matters

Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig’s lawyers have experience litigating claims under a variety of federal, state, and local employment discrimination laws.

Our results-driven team has helped clients defend against single-plaintiff harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims, including disparate treatment and disparate impact claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Our experience spans discrimination based on age, disability, gender, marital status, national origin, pregnancy, race, religion, and sexual orientation. We have also litigated claims arising from the Pregnancy Discrimination Act (PDA) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).

Our employment litigation attorneys have obtained favorable results for clients before federal agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), state agencies, arbitrators, and federal and state courts. Whether before a judge or a jury, our team has the practical experience and perspective to offer business-focused strategies that will achieve our clients’ goals while reducing risk.
